Description

The Arbor Trail is a new trail connecting the Agate Point and West Port Madison neighborhoods. Previously, to hike between these neighborhoods required hiking either on or across highway 305. There is no parking on either end of the trail so consider parking at the West Port Madison Nature Preserve and hiking west down Port Madison road until you see a dirt driveway containing a sign for "Public Trail." At the end of this driveway is the terminus of the Arbor Trail which you can use to continue your hike into the quiet Agate Point neighborhood. Along with the Bloedel Reserve, the Agate Point neighborhood contains many roads with shore access and views of the Agate Pass and Olympic Mountains on the west side and the Cascades on the east side.
