Need to Know

There is an abundance of poison oak along the trail, tread carefully.

Description

This shaded canyon hike starts at the restrooms and heads southeast. Both sides of the narrow trail have an abundance of wildflowers which are especially colorful in May. The trail parallels seasonal Sycamore Creek at the bottom of Madrone Canyon. At 0.9 miles, cross the creek over a bridge and shortly thereafter join Devil's Slide Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of wildflowers along the trail. Wild turkeys seem to frequent the area as well.
