Description

The Lake trail is a series of concrete paths that surround the Pickwick Landing Lodge and Conference Center. You can pick up the trail almost anywhere around the lodge, and enjoy views of the lake and the area around the lodge. For the purpose of this description, the trail starts along White Sulphur Cemetery Road and has views of Pickwick Lake that you can enjoy. The trail passes the dog park where you can exercise your dog in a fenced in area where there are obstacles for them to play with.

The trail goes behind the lodge and passes the dock before passing a pavilion and restroom that is used in the summer for people swimming. The trail goes up through the parking lot and goes out toward the main road where a butterfly garden is located. If flowers are blooming, take time to enjoy the flowers and the various insects that can be found in the garden.

The trail loops around the backside of the ridge and passes the playground and volleyball court before it winds back down and goes in front of the lodge. This trail is good for anyone who wants to go out for a morning or evening stroll.
