Overview
The ascent of Mt. Gozaisho lies in Suzuka Mountains. You travel through dense foliage and rugged terrain as the trail winds its way. You travel past cascading waterfalls and in the right season, vibrant blossoms.
Description
Starting from the parking lot head up the well marked trail. The hike begin in dense foliage, following well-marked paths into the forest.
You encounter a moderate incline as the trail gradually gains elevation. Enjoy intermittent views of waterfalls, rocky outcrops, and lush vegetation along the route.
As the ascent progresses, face increasingly steep sections of trail, requiring more effort and concentration. Persist through the challenging terrain, steadily ascending toward the summit.
Reach the final stretch, where the trail may become rugged, possibly requiring scrambling over boulders. Arrive at the summit and revel in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
After wandering the summit, Descend Begin the descend while navigating the steep terrain and rocky sections.
Flora & Fauna
Some flora you can see are- Cherry blossoms (Sakura), Japanese maple trees, Rhododendrons, Bamboo groves, Japanese cedar trees, and Azaleas.
In the area you can find fauna such as Japanese macaques (Snow monkeys), Japanese serow (a goat-antelope species), Japanese giant salamanders, Sika deer, Japanese flying squirrels, Tanuki (Japanese raccoon dogs), Japanese giant hornets, Japanese serow, and the Japanese dormouse
