This trail is best if you want to quickly and easily make your way to the Cirque de Gavarnie. It uses a paved path and climb gently to the upper valley.

There are many spots along the way to stop by to take a break or have a pleasant picnic. It also offers splendid views of the cirque from a distance.

If you are interested in checking out the waterfalls, you can go further with the Gavarnie Falls – Meadow Trail (⚠️ dogs are not allowed in the waterfall valley despite being allowed in the lower valley).
