Description

Physically this trail starts in the City of Houston's Keith-Wiess Park. The Keith-Wiess South Access is a shaded 10-foot wide concrete trail that runs south from the detention pond, ending in a bridge where this trail begins.

Jurisdictionally, this trail begins south of the bridge at Mierianne St. and is 6-foot wide asphalt in fair condition. Between the grade crossings at Bertrand Street and Hopper Road, the Hartwick Bridge allows access to the west. The Kowis Street Bridge crosses the bayou south of Hopper Road and is a major intersection with the Kowis Sidepath, generating an east/west route to the James Driver Inclusive Park. Continuing downstream, there is an underpass of Little York road that is in poor condition but is usually passable.

At Pinewood Village Park the trail expands to 10' wide asphalt in better condition and then to 10' concrete around the Foy Lane Access. The trail ends at Jensen Drive.
