This trail starts off River Street, just north of People's Park. It runs northward, following the old rail line. The trail crosses over Roaring Branch Walloomsac River via an old rail bridge, before arriving at Route 7A. Use caution crossing here; it is advised to use the pedestrian signal.

The trail crosses to the opposite side of Route 7A and heads northwest as far as Emma Street. For the time being, the trail ends here. The trail is crushed gravel from Orchard Street to here; it is possible that this trail is still in development.

Flora: Poison Hemlock, Jimsonweed, Coltsfoot, Japanese Knotweed, Dandelions, Box-Elder.
Fauna: Cardinal, Cottontail Rabbits, Grackles, Canada Geese, Grey Squirrel.
