Description

This trail was dedicated to Tom Creider, a veteran of Oklahoma State Parks. The trail is very short and goes up to a cave that has been surveyed by archeologists. Evidence points to human presence in the cave hundreds if not thousands of years ago. There are pockets of smoothed rock on the ground in the cave, towards the back and to the right. This is where indigenous peoples ground seeds and grains against the rock for processing.

Flora & Fauna

deer, coyote, cacti, post oak, live oak, wildflowers, mountain boomer, raccoon
