Description

This rocky trail is a semi loop that takes you to a lookout area on part of Quartz Mountain. You can access the trail from the parking lot at the lodge, or from behind the outdoor amphitheater. This trail has a short offshoot (marked) to a cave that has been surveyed by archeologists.

This trail was built to offer guests a way to see the sunrise and sunset, because the lodge is surrounded by mountains.

Flora & Fauna

cacti, snakes, raccoon, mountain boomers, white tail deer, coyote
