Description

Starting from the confluence of the Piney River and Soak Creek, you begin on an old decommissioned road, that has a couple of rocky section, that has an easement through the private property for Cumberland Trail hikers.

You follow Soak Creek for 1.5 miles before the CT heads uphill to the left crossing a ridge before dropping back down to the creek. The trail goes from wide road to singletrack in various sections. This track is an out and back for about half of this segment of the Cumberland Trail.
