This trail is located on private property. For access one needs to be a member of High Hampton Club, a guest of a member, or a guest at the historic High Hampton Inn which is located on the property. This Trail is located in a protective conservation easement managed by the Highlands Cashiers Land Trust on behalf of High Hampton.

Description

This trail is an excellent gateway to The Saddle. Head east from the resort to pick up the trail just beyond Hampton Lake, or connect to the trail mid-mountain as a casual route back toward the Inn.

Once you reach the top, you can hike to the top of Rock Mountain, Chimney Top, or choose an easier hike in the deep valley between the two we call The Holler.
