Overview

A lovely collection of trails through a long-needle pine forest. Additional interconnecting trails for additional loops, exploration, and mileage.

Description

This gets 4 stars for being an actual dirt trail in trees in southern Alabama. It is a pleasant enough trail network but anywhere with some access to real trails, this would be a 2 or 3.

Still, it is a nice collection of trails, ranging from single to doubletrack, that, generally, flow through a mixed long-needle pine and southern deciduous (oak) forest. The outer trail is only about 2 miles, so running figure 8s and just generally wandering is a good way to get the mileage up.

Flora & Fauna

Some lovely water lilies on the lakes.
