Need to Know

This is a very remote section of trail with a low amount of traffic. Always carry bear spray. Come prepared!

Description

This trail connects the Main Rattlesnake Trail #515 to Stuart Peak Trail #517 at the backside of the Rattlesnake Wilderness. Terrain varies from lush riparian undergrowth to largely exposed rocky sections at the higher elevations.

This trail passes by Little Lake, Glacier Lake, and Sanders Lake, all with camping options - there is no bad spot! Grades are generally reasonable with plenty of switchbacks coming up the canyon.
