Features Historical Significance

From the eastern end, this trail starts opposite the railroad tracks. The trail is somewhat overgrown and difficult to see from this entrance. The trail arcs around to McGreggor Point Road, where it meets with some small footpaths. It continues west, across the Alburg peninsula. Shortly after crossing over Route 78, the trail reaches snowmobile junction GI4. Here, there are excellent views over Mud Creek Pond. The trail continues until it reaches Industrial Park Road, in the town of Alburgh.

Fauna: Turtles, Ducks, Blue Heron, Osprey, Freshwater Mussels.
