The easiest place to park for this trail is the Mink Creek Nordic Ski area parking lot. It is accessible to just about any vehicle, but it requires a short drive on a dirt road. The trail passes through a network of ski trails that in the summer look just like any other trail. Routefinding can be a little challenging, so you may want to bring a GPS to make sure you are on the right track. The trail climbs a ridge and then descends into a canyon before connecting with the Valve House trail.
