Need to Know
Entrance to the trail is from Creekside Trail to the north of the park.
Description
Although this trail is referred to as the
Prairie Loop, there does not appear to be any prairie here as of October 2021 other than the clearing left for the electrical wires to pass through.
Hikers must leave the park and continue on the Creekside Trail for a few yards east before reaching the entrance to the Prairie loop. There are a few interpretive signs on this trail that may aid in identifying wildlife.
