Description

This is an interpretive trail that the forest service established many years ago. As of 2021 there is no interpretive signage left, but perhaps someday the forest service will bring in new signs. The trail itself passes through lovely forests, over a ridge, and back down through another forest. It connects the Magic Mountain Ski Area parking lot with Diamondfield Jack, Pettit, and Pike Mountain campgrounds. There are lots of deer and grouse in the forest.

Flora & Fauna

Aspens, pines, deer, grouse, elk
