ADA Accessible Very smooth paved path that is six feet wide and has multiple concrete sidewalks to benches for breaks. Also has concrete sidewalk from parking area with handicap area.

Family Friendly Great place to let children play and ride bikes on the nice path. Also saw people jogging with strollers.

Public parking and porta-potty is available at Navy Point Park. Linear Park to Navy Point Park.

Description

Free Parking at Navy Point Park. Smooth paved path along side of Bayou Grande for one half mile to Linear Park. Limited roadside parking at Linear Park. Several park benches along the path and a couple of picnic areas. This one mile path connects to the Navy Point South paved trail that is about 2 miles long.
