Description

The trail starts off Highway 219 near Eglon, West Virginia. Parking is alongside the highway. The trail starts off on a moderate incline and is fairly well-marked to reach the summit. The majority of the trail lies in Monongahela National Forest but the very top lies on private land in which the owner has authorized to be used as a trail. Highpointers use this trail to bag Maryland's highest point.
