Parking is available at the Glendale Sportsplex.

The trail starts to the west of the soccer fields at the Glendale Sportsplex. It shares a start with another trail and branches to the right and continues up-hill within the first quarter mile. After a climb up switchbacks, the trail is lightly sloped up and down until it descends back to the north side of the sportsplex parking lot. The trail has good shade in the morning due to overhead trees and the steep uphill slope. It has nice views over Glendale to the west. It also provides access to the Cherry Canyon Motorway and associated trails.

Although other resources list this trail as singletrack, there is room to pass.
