This recorded loop connects 3 different trails. Start at the gravel parking lot and turn left on to the Iron Mine Trail where you'll immediately see an old mine entrance. Continue along the trail until you reach the beach outlook point where you'll then hook a sharp right on to the Upper Stuart's Knob Trail. After a steep climb (about 0.6 miles into the hike), you'll turn left onto the Lower Stuart's Knob Trail which will take you to the knob lookout point.

After this, continue along the Lower Stuart's Knob Trail and you'll keep left to merge back onto the Upper Stuart's Knob trail. When you reach an intersection with the Iron Mine Trail, turn left and continue along the Iron Mine Trail where you'll have the option to add on a short out and back to see another historic mine entrance. When you come to an intersection with the Whiskey Run trail, turn right and head back to the parking lot.
