Description

Parking for this circuit can be found off of Parkview Court. You must hike the length of the grass field adjacent to the tree line to get to the trail entrance. Once on the trail, go straight through the powerline clearing to start the trail (they have recently added a marked pole here, so it is significantly more easy to spot).

From there, the trail is relatively straight forward, although there are two significant forks that are very easy to miss. If you miss it, you might end up on a one way trip down the spur to Fresh Ponds Road. There are some pretty muddy areas on this trail, and after significant rain, this trail can contain literal ponds, so make sure to wear your boots!

There is also a break off from this trail that takes you by an area of Ireland Brook where all of the trees and grass seem to have died. Very neat to explore, although it is technically off trail.

Additionally, despite being in the same Conservation area, the powerline clearing doesn't connect to the Forest Brook Trail, as the brook passes through and is deep and wide enough to prevent easy crossing.
