Family Friendly An easy river trail or access to your campsite suitable for the whole family

Description

This is an easy river-side trail that allows people camped at Alsea Falls Campground to access the Alsea Falls Day Use Area without hiking along the road or driving 0.4 miles. The trail begins from the western end of the campground near the camp host and kiosk. A great bridge crosses the Alsea River.

Here you'll see a faint trail to the east/south that leads to the ridge loop option and a clear tail to the northwest that is this trail. Follow the trail downriver. In about a half mile you'll come to the Green Peak Falls Trail and another great bridge that leads to the Day Use Area and Alsea Falls Trail.
