This trail can also be accessed from the Overlook Trail and the Cokeley Recreation Area equestrian trailhead. Horses are also able to use this trail.
Description
Beginning near the at the dam at the Jughandle Day-Use Area, the blue-blazed trail winds through the woods with varying grades. About a mile in, the trail meets the Fisherman's Trail trailhead, which runs along the reservoir lake.
Stay to the right and the trails continues to meander through the woods before emerging at an open field (with a view of the North Bend Lake. The trail ends at the lake where it again intersects the Fisherman's Trail. Taking the spur east leads to the Cokeley Recreation Area that provides boating and fishing access.
