For emergency services dial 911 or 112. Note that cell service is fine in most parts of the route. Guesthouse accommodation is available in Sisian town. Wild camping is tolerated throughout the area; please follow Leave No Trace principles at all times. Be aware of dogs and snakes.
Trail starts form Sisan town and continues until "Zorats Karer"-ancient observatory, known also as "Armenian Stonehenge" or "Karahunj" from where the trail goes down to a beautiful gorge and again up to the plato.
Crossing the main highway, it continues through a field and connects to Shaki waterfall existing trail. Shaki is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Armenia.
