This route is for two days of hiking. You can start either from Geghard or from Geghashen village. There are several old village ruins on the way and beautiful mountain lakes. The most interesting parts are the old petroglyphs(rock carvings) and dragon stones. The trail passes near-extinct volcanic craters of the Gegham mountain range.
