Description

This trail starts off the parking area and passes by both spurs of Atwood Loop. It runs along the western edge of the reservoir until it it comes to the small spur to the campground. A short ways from here, the trail enters into the George D. Aiken Wilderness. The trail loops around to come out at the campground road, where it turns right. In a little ways, the trail turns left and crosses over the dam. This area has benches, grills and a horseshoe pit.
