Family Friendly Easy going trail providing access to Round Lake from the Camas Community Education Center.

Description

This trail offers an okay view of Pothole Falls (or good view from a steep spur trail) and the Lacamas Creek, but it isn't very useful for making loops unless you are starting from the community education center.

The trail begins between the dam separating Round Lake from Mill Pond and the Dam forming Round Lake at the top of Lacamas Creek. For a while it follows the eastern edge of Mill Pond which can be a nice bird habitat or nearly dry depending on the season. You'll then cross the dam that forms Mill Pond and start paralleling the western edge of Lacamas Creek. You'll pass numerous short trails and a Mt. Bike playground before the trail exits the park at the Camas Community Education Center.
