Description

Great Divide Trail - Section G (North Boundary Trail to Kakwa Lake) Alternate Route.

This Alternate Route takes an eight mile high route off of the main GDT. Starting at Shale Pass, it climbs Mt. Talbot to just below its summit, and then drops down into open meadows between two mountain ridges. Descending gradually in a creek valley, this Alternate rejoins the main GDT at Morkill Pass.
