Description

Park At the Hawk Creek boat launch parking lot and enjoy the view of the waterfall. From there hike this short trail along Hawk Creek to it's confluence with with Lake Roosevelt.

The trail is an easy hike with gradual elevation gain and no real obstacles. The beach along the lake is a perfect spot to relax and have a picnic. If the water level is low, enjoy an extended hike by just continuing down the beach.

There is also a cave in the area along one of the hillsides.

Flora & Fauna

Waterfowl often frequent this portion of the lake and deer can be found grazing the hillsides above the trail.
