Features Historical Significance

Family Friendly Being a rail trail, this path is relatively flat and easy for kids. Additionally, it is fairly short.

Description

This trail is the main trail in the park. It follows the path of the Seven Sisters Railroad which was William Gillette's miniature railroad. It is blazed purple and is also marked by the 7SRR symbol. The trail here is the section of the Train Trail west of the park road.

The trail begins around the main castle area and continues next to the main park road. It continues over a long, low bridge and turns to the right. After passing by an unblazed trail and a trail blazed yellow, the trail arrives at 125th Street Station, a small shelter. The trail then passes over a few small footbridges and a few other trails before returning to the side of the park road. It then continues next to the road to the trail's end.
