Need to Know

Please note that this trail does cross Basset Bridge Road which is relatively busy.

Description

This trail is built on top of, as the name suggests, the Mansfield Hollow flood control levee. It is an easy trail that is paved most of the way. Because it is a levee it is raised up which gives good views of the lake and of the dam as well as the recreation areas of the park. Though it is not challenging, this trail is the main recreational attraction of the park and is a very pleasant hike.
