Description

The Calico Mountains are a popular hotspot for off-road vehicles and hiking full of neat canyons, mines, and arches. Most of the roads require 4WD, high clearance, and special tires but that doesn't mean it's inaccessible to anyone without a lifted Jeep. Mule Canyon Road is an easier path to multiple staging areas and is a fun drive, bike, hike, or run in its own right.

The only turns on this path are to the right at the two junctions for the Phillip's Canyon loop, however there are many turn-offs for a more challenging time however they also make it more difficult to stay on the right road. It's also recommended using the hiking trail app or other GPS.
