Description

This is a short and nicely maintained spur of the Salmon River Trail. This trail spurs off of the Salmon River Trail just before its junction with Day Pond Road. It is well blazed with blue and red blazes. The beginning of the trail is marked with a sign with information about the Eagle Scout project that built this trail.

The trail continues over some nice terrain and sticks closely to the brook the whole way. After a short hike, it leads to the top of the falls system. While not very well visited, well known, or even named, these falls can hold their own with any of the other fall systems in the CT State Park/Forest system.
