The visitor center and main parking lot was closed due to COVID - park at the first lot outside the main entrance which adds 1/2 mile to the hike.

Description

Newark Slough Trail is a 6.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Fremont, California . It is nice loop around the berms of Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge - great for bird watching.
