Description

This trail is easier to find from the western shore of the ore pit pond. Look for the sign on the right of the first-aid/ restroom building. Follow the orange blazes around Ore Pit Pond.

The trail pushes through an overgrown area of Privet bushes until it comes out into a more open forest. As you descend the mossy stone steps, the trail turns right. Here, the trail becomes faded and difficult to follow. The blazes follow along the black tarp fenceline, then become obscured by large Mullein stalks.

The trail turns right, onto a gravelly woods road, and comes out near the abandoned cabin. Here, you'll see an orange marker on the tree to the left of the cabin.
