Short, flat, well maintained trail, with lots to see for the little ones.
Need to Know
Parking is free in a gravel lot just off of Stilesboro road. There are bathrooms, a water fountain, and covered picnic tables at the parking lot.

The trail starts from the southwest corner of the parking lot. Hike through the dense thicket and the forest.
A cut off trail to the left about 1/2 way will take you to the meadow. Continue straight (slightly right) to go on to Allatoona Creek.
The trail ends at Allatoona Creek along the sewer line.
Flora & Fauna
Many small mammals and birds can be seen on this trail. Don't miss the ferns along the creek. Stop near the marsh about 2/3 of the way to look for animal prints in the thick mud. Deer marks are almost always there. In the Spring, the sound of frogs is deafening at this point.
