Need to Know

The old mines are not safe to explore. The buildings are possibly even more dangerous. Stay Safe Stay Out.

Description

Lots of creek crossings so just consent to get wet right away. Don't muck about thinking you are going to stay dry. This is Boulder Creek and that is exactly what is hiding under the water, that and large holes. Charge in and hope for the best, better yet make your buddy lead.

This trail crosses a couple of shale slopes that can be a bit tedious but very cool. After following the creek in a large fish hook shape, you find yourself in a giant bowl with mining history in all directions.
