Family Friendly A nice, flat, short trail to a waterfall.

Overview

This is a great family option in the Bozeman area. Just a little over a mile in, there is good access to the Pine Creek at the base of the falls.

Description

From the parking lot, you cut through burnt over forest that has wildflowers in the right season. At around a 1/2 mile you cross Pine Creek.

As you continue on, you enter thick coniferous forest. The closer you get, the walls of the canyon begin to close in. Finally the trail turns toward the mountain and you arrive at the falls.
