Family Friendly Playground equipment at Evergreen Park and a nature theme at Ray Pittman Park.

Description

This sidepath, on the west side of Newcastle Driver, begins just south of Glenmont. Though there are a lot of street entrances, the motor vehicle stop signs generally keep drivers from blocking the path. There is a buffer between the path and the street and, with a few exceptions, sight lines are good.

The trail has pedestrian crossing signals at Bissonnet Street and Bellaire Street. The wide trail ends just north of Beechnut Street, but there are narrow sidewalks from that point to access the Brays Bayou Trail.
