Description

This second part of the Black Cat Trail starts from the dirt road at the north end of Lower Black Cat Trail. It turns left to climb up to 2,040 feet, then descends slightly. At the dip in the hills, Johnson Spring Spur leaves from the right. This small spur leads to a piped spring with delicious cold water. It climbs through a jumbled mess of trees and crosses a small bridge. This trail ends when it reaches the next dirt road.
