Need to Know

The parking area, kiosk, and bathroom are new (as of 2020).

Description

This trail starts from the upper end of the parking area and climbs a slippery slope to the summit of Magalloway Mountain. The path was recently bulldozed to allow access to the communications tower at the top. The trail is slippery and rough, so watch your footing.

Steep but straightforward route to a remote peak. Look for a spur to find dramatic cliff views overlooking backcountry regions.
