Need to Know

No trail - just scramble up the rocks and hope you chose the easiest path.

Description

There are many different routes from Lyons to the viewpoint. All of them are steep and rocky, and don't have a trail. The one that is recorded starts from Lyons Lake and follows the left side of the trees. Then, it parallels the valley and scrambles up the last section. This can be used to access Mount Price as well.

The view is extremely nice, and a firefall effect can be seen on Smith Lake at sunset.
