Description

This paved path begins on the east edge of Bentley Park at N. Riverview Drive. The well-shaded trail runs along the south bank of the Arkansas River to the US 64/Memorial Drive bridge, where the old steel bridge is used to cross the river. On the north bank, the trail runs west through the Washington Irving Memorial Park and Arboretum.

There are several monuments of historical interest in the park. At the west end of the park, the trail enters an open segment on the north side of the wastewater treatment plant to reach Fry Ditch Trail. (Under some wind conditions, the odor from the wastewater plant can be a bit strong.)
