Description

After leaving the Bear Creek Staging Area, this lesser traveled trail parallels Deer Creek climbing up a partly shaded valley. The grade is gentle and consistent, its one of easier routes to reach the popular Briones Crest Trail. The last 1,000 feet or so of the trail is a little steeper than the rest but it's nothing out of the ordinary.
