Access this trail via the Kishwaukee River Recreation Path and the Connector Trail. The trail begins at Trail Marker 8. Turn left and very quickly the forest will give way to an old farm field that is being reforested. You'll find Trail Marker 6 after 0.5 miles where the Orange Trail intersects the Green Trail. Turn right to stay on the Orange Trail, crossing a small creek twice before coming on Trail Marker 7. Turn right and continue through the reforested farm field and the forest for another 0.9 miles before arriving back at the beginning.
