Description

Great trail with access to Trail Creek Lakes and the Sawtooth Wilderness. The trail starts just past Grand Jean and is a popular route due to it's easy access. A steady but mild climb takes you up and into the Sawtooth Wilderness and the intersection of Observation Peak Trail #614 and Iron Creek - Stanley Lake Trail #640 with side trip option to trail Creek Lakes. This trail has the added perk of following a creek the whole way so you can filter ice-cold refreshing water all along the way.

When you get back be sure to hit the hot springs in Grand Jean for a recovery soak. Your feet have earned it.
