Need to Know

There is an emergency call box at the peak.

Description

A wide, steep fire road climb onto the ridge that flattens out along multiple points and comes to a peak before descending towards Oak Savannah Trail. The grade at this end of the trail tends to be loose and is challenging to climb back towards Walnut Boulevard, so plan accordingly if heading in the westward direction.

Westward, the Oak Savannah Trail and Adobe Trail take you towards the base of Miwok Trail and eventually into Round Valley Regional Preserve.
