Overview

Wakodahatchee Wetlands offers locals a great opportunity to get out and see some wildlife in their own backyard. Created as part of the area's water treatment system, this small park benefits local wildlife as a place to nest and rear their young. As such, taking a lap around the short boardwalk you're bound to see all kinds of birds, as well as even lizards! Be sure to bring a camera to capture what you find.

Description

Starting from the large parking lot, connect with the boardwalk and follow it as it makes a loop through the wetlands. Once you've made the loop, you can either hang out for a while and catch glimpses of wildlife, or return to the large parking lot where you left your car.
