Features Birding · Views · Wildflowers · Wildlife

Description

This is a short hike between 11,500 feet and 12,500 feet with some nominal incline with the purpose of exercise at altitude.

The views from the top of the hike are quite nice. Down valley back towards the city of Cachi, up valley toward the summit complex, and off the back towards Luracatao.

Some rocky outcroppings could add bouldering and some short climbs for those inclined.

Flora & Fauna

Condors and other birds are frequently visible. Larger mammals are plentiful although skittish.
